E175: Miguel Delaney on Barca's summer spending & competing with state-owned clubs (Patreon)

A lot has been said and written about Barcelona's summer of spending, so Sam and Rik decided to speak to Miguel Delaney about the view from afar on Barça's decision to sell TV rights to invest in their squad. Miguel is the chief football writer for the Independent and wrote this article on Barça last week: link here.

Miguel has written about European football for over a decade and his piece on Barça is more balanced than many things that have been said, shared or written elsewhere. However, there will undoubtedly be some points you may disagree with. The podcast covers Barca's summer but also explores the issues they face in competing with state-owned clubs.
