Who is this David Fernandez guy? What will his role be, why is he hired and what has he achieved before? Also, why did he leave Real Madrid?

Could you please give some context around certain words/phrases colloquially used in Spanish football I.e. “Mister(more than just a coach/manager?”, “sufriendo”,”sensaciones “?

Do you think Araujo will be used at RB once Kounde is integrated into the club? This would seem counterintuitive to me considering his comparative weakness on the ball going forward.

What’s going on with Ferran Torres? How did he get injured?

Given recent investment in the squad, what would they have to achieve for the season to be considered a success?

Jonathan Ben-Israel

In the most important game of the season, who do you think would be in the starting xi? (Assuming health)

Laporta has been "quietly" talking up return for Leo Messi in summer 2023. Has Laporta's relationship with Messi improved at all since last summer? In Laporta's interview with the NY Times the article mentions that Laporta was on his way to meet with Goldman Sachs to "discuss a new financing arrangement". Are you all aware of what financing arrangement this might be? Andrea Agnelli, Florentino Pérez, and Laporta all reportedly met in Las Vegas to discuss the Super League. Any word on what their new plans are for the competition?

Why are Barca trying to sign Inigo Martinez? Surely they are overstocked with centre halves as it is. Also is he actually good enough for a top side. Is it purely because he is left sided? Surely it is not worth paying 15 million or more on him now and rather wait and sign him on a free next summer when Pique will likely have moved on or retired freeing up a space.

With regards to salary cap / registering players. We have had the good fortune to be able to sell various rights this summer. Do you think this will be a problem next summer without having to sell more? Surely this summer can only be a “one-off”? It’s all very confusing.
