Hello! Sam here. A slightly different Q&A this week. It will be me and special guest Tim Lee (@timjollylee), a journalist and commentator for LaLiga TV. So any specific questions for Tim are very much encouraged -- whether on his commentaries, wider LaLiga issues or anything else! I will endeavour to answer the Barça questions (!) but if you have any specific questions for Rik and/or Toni, make it clear and they will answer a few recorded ones to feed in to the episode. Thanks for your support!

(UPDATE: Tim is producing an interview with Pedri on Thursday for UEFA, so it may be interesting to hear about that side of things / Pedri off the pitch as well. Therefore, we will be recording Friday AM CET)

In the light of more and more LaLiga clubs immensely struggling with the financial regulations in terms of registering new and keeping existing players, are there prominent voices to change the system? Is it regarded a success overall with just Barca being a black sheep or do you think the austerity leeds to a disadvantage on the European level?

As we are doing wider La Liga discussions. I have Celta as my second team. Can anyone explain the issues Celta Vigo are having with one our ex players - Denis Suarez? Seems very much like the Braithwaite situation but looks like there's more to it. Has Denis been accused making money in Celta player sales?

1. What are some areas of improvement for Xavi as a manager and a coach as he starts his first full season? 2. Who are the potential next great LaLiga managers to watch this season? 3. Who are the best 3-5 right backs in LaLiga right now? Since Barça are currently looking for a right back this feels appropriate.

Hey, I would like to hear you opinion of Xavi's tactics/team selection/formation. I understand that the team is still not a fixed entity until the window closes, but why the square peg round hole decision's re: Frenkie(double pivot cleary his strength) Araujo(clearly not a RB), and the insistence of 433 instead of a generally static 343 that allows you to field your best team? Without elite fullbacks the ball progression becomes too mechanical and slow, dare I say predictable. Plus it enables teams to smother Busquets, who frankly, needs to be supported in order to be a difference maker. Sorry for length.

Hey Guys!! question for Stan, do you think the La Liga salary cap is what best for the league as other leagues do not have a salary cap like the EPL.

Marvin Argueta

Another question for Stan my family is big fan of Cadiz because of former El Salvador forward Mágico González, what are the chances Cádiz stay another season in the Primera Division?

Marvin Argueta

For Rik and Toni, If Sergino Dest leaves Barca, why couldn’t he succeed at the club? Was he label as a Ronald Koeman player?

lamin Kassama

for toni, why do barcelona have such a bad scouting network? i doubt alemany even knows what xg means and jordi cruyff and his trusted scout joel lara are probably the only ones who use data to buy players, barca thesedays just want to buy every other man city player for a big price but why cant we learn from them instead, make smart signings with the help of good scouts, theyll prob go and get a 23-24 year old midfielder for 30-40 who we will be trying to sign in 3 years, we shouldnt just be looking at spanish players

Sam, are you allowed to name some of the players who didn’t want to answer in the La Liga Confidential article? If so, can you name some?😂
