Hey everyone, we'll probably record this on Friday, or possibly Thurs depending on our varying timetables, after the Clasico. Imagine plenty of the questions will be about/related to that, but just posting this now so there's time for people to ask anything else too...

As I have previously mentioned on this forum I was utterly opposed to the signiing of Lewandowski. I said it was madness to throw so much of Barca's limited funds at a 34 year old. Given how poor he has been this season apart from the first few matches and particularly in the big games in which he is a non factor just how bad is he going to be for the next 3 seasons! He will be lucky to reach 20 league goals at this rate unless he can hit a few in off his standing leg as against Elche. Part of the reason Messi wont be coming back is the money tied up in this rapidly depreciating 'asset'.

Anyone still think Raphina is the equal of Dembele? Hopefully some idiotic premier league club will be willing to pay Barca their money back this summer to get shot of him.

I thought Toni was a bit over the top saying that a defeat to Madrid in the cup would cast a shadow over the season even if the league is won but given tonight's utter embarrassment I now have to agree.

A couple of questions: 1. Do you think that the Guardiola teams and Messi have ‘ruined’ a generation of fans in terms of expectations? In the early 2000s we celebrated finishing 4th and were losing 5-0 to Malaga! Now winning La Liga with a 12 point advantage is now a bit ‘meh’ in comparison to winning a treble. 2. How is it fair that RM and Barcelona get treated so differently in terms of narrative? And why do you think that is? If Barca had won last night it would be been because RM don’t care about the Copa, just like the SuperCopa or Liga clásico, whereas a Barca defeat is a disaster.

Do you think last nights heavy defeat could be a positive for the summer transfer market, as now its clear that when key players are missing the back ups are not good enough at the top level and we need to add quality squad depth. I think when barca have there best 11 out they can compete with anyone but as soon as we have injuries the drop off is massive.

I think barca are in desperate need for a Left Winger and would welcome Abde back into the squad for next season but do think we would need another as torres and fati don’t look good enough. Do you think barca will target one in the summer ?

Daniel Mcdonald

Do you think barca need to sign a back up Striker to give rest to Lewandowski who has been poor in most games since the world cup.

Daniel Mcdonald

Would like your opinion’s on barca’s captains and there weak mentality that when we see any sort of pressure or difficult moment there heads go down, i believe this is a negative influence on the squad and would really like barca to have other players in those roles i think Araujo would be the perfect captain for barca.

Daniel Mcdonald

Do you think barca should renew busquets. I personally think we shouldn’t and move on as he isn’t good enough in big games and also doesn’t seem like a leader off the pitch so don’t see the benefit of keeping him other than he is Xavis friend.

Ivan

Just seen that the Fair play rules might get temporarily relaxed. Any truth in this? It would be great news not just for Barca but La Liga in general to have respite even if it’s just for a transfer window or two.
