I bet Ben is gonna love the nachzehrer

Rocío Sotelo

“Come back, no matter what. Or else I’ll destroy this world.” THIS IS LITERALLY THE BEST LINE FROM THIS EPISODE. I love Ernst so much.

Frederica and Shin’s relationship took me by surprise during cour 2. It’s one of my favorite things and the way Frederica screamed at him to not go broke my heart 😭😭😭

Aaron Wright

18.5 is just a clip show, can skip to 19 :)

Charles Baldwin

I'm pretty sure it should be 100km and an extra zero got added in there.

Jake Thompson

Keep in mind that they were child soldiers who were given a chance to lead normal lives, and instead the demanded to be back out there fighting, so there's gonna be a negative view of "the monsters from the Republic." It is entirely understandable, reasonable even, if you're a regular soldier and the plan is "you're the bait for our superhuman child soldiers to destroy the mega weapon." Also it's probably a typo in the speed of the Nachzehrer, I believe it's supposed to be 100km to the target, not 1000, otherwise they would be going 3,700 mph which is almost twice as fast as any fighter jet.

Aero

Yeah they would be traveling at mach 12 if it was 1000km rather than just over the speed of sound.

rogueknight

Yep. Its another subtitle mistake, but you are correct it should be 100km

Frederica also became my favorite character because of this core. Having this outside character was needed to reach Shin. Her being outside his "86" circle of friends plus her abilities allowed her to say and realize things about Shin no else really could.

5eps remaining and then hopefully we might get announcement for a season 2 hopefully next year

Sam

Hands up to the sky for Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano. The final 5 minutes with 4N, Hear My Voice and Alchemilia combined with the SFX of the Nachzehrer launch gives me chills every time. Only 2 more amazing episodes until we reach my greatest 3-episode masterpiece of all time. Yes even better than AoT 3x16-18 or 4x19-21.

nier just got delayed again with a recap episode, unfortunateley its this team of a1 pictures who did 86 so it might take awhile still for anything to get announced if they havent even started pre production of season 2

Fang

I'm gonna be counting down the days, I love watching reactions to the end and I just know I'll love their reaction to 22 especially

Sam

22 is pure art and 23 is just one of the best payoffs ever and when LilaS hits...man I'm ready to cry again.

1000km in 9 seconds is a bit faster than 4,100 mph, or March 5.4 While we have designed jets faster than that, it's literally only 2. And they were also prototypes that never saw real use. So while it's not impossibly fast, it is INCREDIBLY fast and super impressive.
