Slykou

FMAB please

Slykou

FMAb lets goooo

Ronald Bohne

Code Geass would amazing for you two to analyze. Fullmetal is probably too big though. Hopefully CG hapens in the future.

GhostPhil

Yeah Code Geass is sadly not "main stream" enough. It would certainly be a really interesting show for them. And I think thwir first Mecha show, of we don't count 86.

Yam

Dang people sleeping on Code Geass as always

Matter

Fate needs to win holy KINO

ElectricAnt

Watching FMAB without seeing 03 first makes zero sense

Quinn

starting fate is always hard because starting at fate/zero is not correct even though it's the most popular entry with average people lol. the old fate/stay night anime is not modern enough to start with and fate/zero is default even though it ruins plot revelations for a lot of future stories since it was made as a novel with the reader having experienced the original story before. That's the only complicated part about the fate watch order.

Merfhew

I'm not sure that I agree with you, but I definitely feel like people are missing out by not giving the 2003 series a chance. If, hypothetically, they were to change the poll option from FMAB to FBA 2003, would you vote for Fullmetal Alchemist?

Milk Tea

my god this poll is stacked

ElectricAnt

Oh hell yeah, I don’t think there’s a single complete 03 reaction on YT

Erik Nilsson

Your comment make zero sense

Merfhew

I'm a Fate fan, but I need more clarity before I can vote for the Fate option. Which of the shows will they watch? What order will they be watching them in? And will it be sub or dub? If they can provide those answers (and I like what they say), I'd be willing to change my vote from FMAB. I understand that it's tough to give answers when you're going in blind, though.

Wanderer

I know a lot of people might find FMAB to be the boring pick, but it really is like "required reading" for watching anime. It will always be good

Vladi

aachtuaally u supposed to play the games first 🤓 Idk i think its fine, they are good at discussing stuff no matter in what way its presented to them. Its gonna be good reactions/watch if it wins! I dont think we need to send their channel for few years on the whole fate franchise lol, theres other series to watch aswell. zero-ubw-movies gonna take a while too

Merfhew

I feel like UBW was directed with the idea that people have watched Fate/Zero. For better or worse. So I always suggest starting with Zero.

Kenju Storm

We gotta vote Fate! It's perfect for the channel

Quinn

Yeah I voted for Fate too. I omitted the games because that's just off the table for most people so this is the minimum for people willing to get into the franchise, then so be it. I have my problems with Zero aside from watch order but it's just an observation. Hope it wins.

Quinn

Judging off their other reactions and their willingness to go with the most popular watch orders, they will definitely be subbed and going with Fate/Zero - UBW - Heavens Feel

Merfhew

Speaking of games, I've heard that the new re-release has a lot of bugs to fix. So if anyone is looking to play the game, you should hold off for now... or just play the original.

Vladi

Its perfectly fine to watch it lol, its completed and it makes sense for what it is. Its not like they watching naruto Shippuden without ever watching original naruto... or random ass fate/monogatari series without order. You dont need to eat the whole cake for a certain franchise, to enjoy it.

BigManSirob

I honestly can't believe you guys have had an anime reaction channel for this long and haven't watched Fullmetal Alchemist yet. The other options are good but it needs to win!

ElectricAnt

So what if it’s completed, it still skips most of the early arcs

Vladi

Its always subbed, unless its something like Arcane/CP. They gonna do a poll or ask us in here: what to watch first and in what order, like they did for monogatari. They might be late on some uploads sometimes, but they read our shit/suggestions.

Vasto

Code Geass last place, holy shit. Fate is one of the most overrated series out there, its at least good compared to something like Evangelion, but the hype train on Fate is far bigger than it deserves. Fmab is amazing definitely must watch, not my personal favourite, still can't comprehend fate being so popular... the power of Gacha gamers.

Quinn

They already fixed the games. The bugs were essentially making the vn a randomizer lmfao. The fix before the patch was to change your locale region to Japan, which was also what people did when their pirated version of the game didn't work which is even more hilarious. They fixed it though and it's all good

Vasto

Im not huge FMAB fan, but definitely its worth watching, anything over Fate really.

Klarin Black

They will in all likelihood watch Zero first, then UBW and HF, as most anime only people do. It’s also pretty much the best option for anime only imo. Even though the source material for zero came after F/SN, UBW and HF were produced after zero which leads to the spoilers for zero being quite a bit heavier in the anime than in the VN.

Vasto

Its weird since they loved Death Note, and Code Geass its first recommendation if you watched it.

Julliant

Ignoring any of the mediocre spin offs or the gacha game which I have no intention to play, Fate has extremely cool lore and world mechanics. Zero especially has really good writing. Code Geass is a good watch, but it's not a flawless masterpiece either. All the high school hijinks bog down the show for me personally, it's such a tonal whiplash.

Vladi

Fate is a franchise that needed the long run big three treatment to be able to explore everything into depth in anime form... but then we would get potato quality arcs, bad transitions between arcs/timelines and 💩 animation and so on 😂

Quinn

If you don't intend to play the gacha game you should try reading/watching a synopsis of the story on youtube, because the lore is mostly all written by the original creators and are just incredible storytelling wise.

Vasto

Yes definitely you are right, but in Fate nothing is Amazing, maybe aside animations in Fate Zero, but Characters? some are better written but none are amazing, plot is quite basic, there is nothing to be excited about Fate.

Puni

All three of these works are definitely masterpieces, and it's very difficult for me to choose one. This time I recommend the Fate series, but I think some of the spinoff titles are not that important. (The essentials are Unlimited Blade Works, Zero, and Heaven's Feel.)

Julliant

Maybe if I'm really feeling up for it, but I got put off by how much of Fate outside of the main series is pandering and waifus. Loli serial killers and character reskins, meh pass. I want more badass historical/mythological characters.

Julliant

I don't really see any good arguments here, just your feelings. I'm confident AutoSave will enjoy the complexities and layers in Fate Zero.

Meow_Lin

I picked Code Geass, hopefully it wins next time lol

Dan D

Haven't seen Fate but CG and FMAB are both great picks and two of my favorite dubs. Does anyone know if they'd be watching dubs for these or not?

Vasto

What is good argument, if its just "my feelings" i saw two other channels reacting to Fate because people jumped in, while somewhat enjoying fate/zero due to animations and so on, both channels dropped after stay night. Sure its just my feelings my fate fans are often crazy and don't see how this series don't have much to offer. I studied history, and i don't find it interesting at all, since for me it was pure fantasy how they presented most of the historical characters, they don't even retained the main traits. For me Fate its just a series for Masses that blow up, and got wind with Gacha games and all spin offs.

Julliant

Duh it's fantasy, nobody ever said it's historically accurate, it's just cool to have superhero versions of various figures while having lots of different interpretations of history. I don't think any of the Fate voters are even suggesting every Fate show either, just because the spin offs are not great doesn't invalidate the quality that is still there in the main series

🤡

fate Heavens feel movies clears tf out of fullmid average hood. Heavens feel has the best fights in anime history and has a more emotional story 😂 fma fanboys coping with their nostaglia

🤡

code gayAss has trash pacing, 1 dimensional npc chars who just exist to stroke off the mc and fall for his low iq plans. Fate has way better themes and char development

Vasto

I didn't said historically accurate, but all that those characters have in common is name. I don't like superheroes at all, "different interpretations of history" are no longer history its just fantasy. Its still overrated for me.

Vasto

Fate better themes and character development haha there is no development of characters, and the Fate community is known in internet as toxic gacha gamers, classic.

Josh

I’m voting Fate/stay night, but that’s if you guys are playing the visual novel. It’s just come out officially in English but it’s the only way to experience the entire story

Alathea

Code Geass 😭 not even third time's the charm is gonna work here. This poll is evil.

Wizard Graphics

Dang code geass is really perfect for your discussions but it's looking grim sadge.

Wirk Leon

Sad neither Odd taxi or Summertime Rendering got the votes, but I'll finally have a reason to watch FMAB, so that's great

Gabriel Cabral

The quality between this poll and the second one is crazy lul All those 3 shows are really amazing. But in the context in what would be the best to discuss over like autosave does, fate and code geass are the better picks here. I personally choose fate tho.

Will

no dubs

Matter

I assume they'd be watching all of it. There are only two real watch-orders to choose from. I just prefer Fate over FMAB is all.

xkcdsmbc

I agree about fate, I like bits of it, and if its your kinda show I can see how people can recommend it, but yeah, much overhyped. Thoug I honestly kinda feel that way about Code Geass to, I like(well, art style aside) it, but its not near a top favorite for me and don't get it being so high up there for a lot of people.

🤡

its ok your just to low iq and want a cringe low iq edgelord show where the mc has all the plot armor in the world 😂 the dialogue sounds like it was made by people with brain damage.

Jason Parker

Noooo Fate keeps barely missing out lol

Vasto

Ah yes teenager ad hominem, you don't need to sell me how bad Fate is i know. Code Geass is beating in score every Fate season on every site possible, nice to see.

RePlay

Code Geass, my beloved...

🤡

who tf is using cringe weeboo websites lmao? if we compare the whole fate franchise and code geass franchise its not even close 😂😂😂in terms of revenue/ popularity/ different series fate clears in every category that matters😂 fate is one of the biggest IPs in japan

Justin_IVIX

FMAB is one of the very few anime I'll 100% say the dub is the way to go.

Vasto

Roblox and Demon Slayer clears fate in every category that matters, any other amazing arguments? Also Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Pokemon, Doraemon, Jojo. Fate isn't even in top 20 grossing ip's in Japan. Its popular overseass thanks to shitty gacha games.

John Spartan

Code Geass is peak 2000's anime, with one of the best protagonist ever. Sadly it looks like it won'tbe winning this poll, but both Fate and FMAB are solid choices so I won't complain much

greenb3ar

I'm basically happy with whatever wins of these 6. There is a severe lack of good Fate/Zero reactions out there though so it takes priority for me

yolloon

Fate series has been a huge family now. Should be careful on the start. I recommend Fate/Zero. It has a game rule explanation in the beginning. Not much character collaborate with the others series families. And the greatest story in the series.

Palm

Has to be Code Geass or FMAB for this channel, I think. Fate/Zero is fantastic, but the rest of the series isn't worth the years it would take to watch once a week.

Andrew

I don't really understand why people say to start with Fate/Zero, considering it spoils so much of FSN. Like yeah, it's a prequel, but it was a prequel made after the fact originally for those who were already familiar with the franchise.

Cyber_JokerWTF

All of ufo’s fate anime will take as much as Code Geass and less than FMAB so idk what you’re on about

Sam

FMAB would be awesome. Much prefer the sub to the dub (like always), but nostalgia people will vote for the dub. Luckily it does have one of the better dubs.

Ash

I always watch sub because the budget is higher and the voice acting is better, however the FMA:B dub is actually comparable in quality to the sub which is impressive. I can't think of any other anime where that is the case.

NCP

There’s no chance Fate would win over FMA due to popularity but man it would be a great time

Luke

ubw spoils way more of zero than zero spoils of ubw. Plus zero is just better, not just my opinion its fact its rated higher, so rather spoil the worse of the 2.

ATableWithPants

Funny you would say that, cuz I watched the sub first, and the dub much later, and I still prefer the dub for this one haha. It's just stellar imo, at least compared to most other anime dubs

Alan Bun

Looks like Code Geass is cursed to come third again! All of these are good shows, but I do hope you keep Code Geass on your radar for some point in the future. It’s a classic for a reason, it’s just always went up against a lot of heavy hitters or recent favourites in these polls. Hope you guys enjoy whatever wins though!

Alan Bun

At least they’re keeping it on the polls and know it’s popular, just gets beaten by even more popular shows. Fingers crossed it’ll come back around again later on. While Code Geass is popular and considered a classic, I find it has a less vocal fanbase compared to a lot of other shows so doesn’t have the best of luck in these polls. A lot of the fans are just horny posting on the subreddit nowadays 😂

Sam

Compared to other anime dubs for sure. I'm used to watching pokemon, dragonball etc older anime that I've seen as a kid dubbed so I prefer them over sub for sure. Out of the never ones, only Cyberpunk Edgerunners was better dubbed, but that was because of the setting and the lingo worked better in english. As for FMAB, I'd say it's one of the best dubs out there, but for me the sub was slightly better. I watched it just few years ago and couldn't hear Hange when Ed talked but still it worked for me. I don't mind either way and I totally understand the dub preference in this case.

Wendy

If you do Fate, please start with Unlimited Blade Works and not the spinoff (Zero)

nycReaching

i still havent seen FMAB, but if i end up liking it, ill end up binging it because i dont want to spend 1.5 years to watch it here lol.. i wish they did double eps for classics

koax I.N

umm...difficult and no other? many of these works are actually natural to be reacted before, why now(・・?) FULLFATECODE are good, but aren't they including something easy and taking long time for Ben&Anna-san…I wanted to watch more something new-type. who recommend..._(:3」z)_ Many ch have reacted them, not so fresh and autosave reacted so many masterpieces over them, TBH, not in super good order and late...feels a bit late timing. Ver 2/2 voting is understandable, and VE shall win, so I think I should consider the combination of whole posting season.......do we need MARQURY GUNDAM's OOKOUCHI now? maybe...ok.←I have just voted and _:(´ཀ`」 ∠): Anyway, B&A must be busy for “the true masterpiece MONOGATARI“ and are wanted to concentrate it, as it will take over 1 and a half year. plz never forget, autosave is famous for their top analyzing quallity...not only for easy popularism. it is not FULL...METALjPANIC, do we know it?

Arakis

Fate/Zero is a prequel in the same universe and timeline. The spinoffs are Prisma Illya and Grand Order.

Arakis

FSN spoils FZ and FZ spoils FSN. Which means that you lose some anyway. So if you're losing some anyway you gotta check (1) Which 'spoiler' is the most impactful and (2) If you can't decide, just go in-universe chronology. In my opinion, FZ's spoiling of FSN is worse than FSN's spoiling of FZ anyway (I don't want to go into much detail because, spoilers, duh!). When in doubt, chronologically.

Cyber_JokerWTF

Jfc I almost had a stroke reading this cringe

koax I.N

sry…I myself also think so actually. but if in japanese I think I can make a more polite comment...I'm really sorry for my poor English. (○ω○)

koax I.N

koax I.N

Godstinct

There is like over 30 anime where the English dub is better. Weebs who are nerds are just obsessed with Japan culture and are in denial lmao. For example yu yu hakusho, trigun, dbz lmao

Vasto

Fate is garbage series lul

🤡

99% of ppl watch anime for fights if I wanted a good story I wouldn’t be watching garbage like code gayAss. I’d read a actual book

Cyber_JokerWTF

Bro I can't tell if you're actually Japanese and are trying your best or if you're a troll lmao. I am not badmouthing or really insulting, I thought you were writing cringe on purpose, my bad lol. And yea I like Fate even tho I haven't read the VN. Mahoyo and Tsukihime VNs on the other hand are 😍😍

koax I.N

I know u (every one) are nice guys, it is my fault not using Google trance for...only hassle (＞人＜;) …not using it now still(*ﾟ∀ﾟ*;) apologize to u, comunity member, and autosave m(_ _)m (Type-○…o, of course i must know nothing ^^;)

xkcdsmbc

You will binge it within the first month easy.

BigManSirob

Fullmetal Alchemist August 30th 🥳🥳🎉

JP77

darn guess after 86 ill just go from full length to a dollar until we are done with fma , hope they add fate again, the fact that it looses all polls makes it very underrated. cheers

Wendy

its a prequel written later by someone completely different that is predicated on having experienced the original Fate/Stay Night including both UBW and Heavens Feel, only existing in the same timeline by writing around reveals that happened in the original in a way that assumes you know about the reveals

Wendy

It really makes no sense, like the obvious correct answer is that you should watch it in release order for the original source material because it would make no sense to watch a non-chronological series in an in-universe chronological order

Wanderer

The Fate Series is not underrated. You have to also take into consideration all the other shows in these polls. There is plenty of masterful anime out there still for them to watch

koax I.N

I forgot to mention that I actually voted for Fate, Mr.wtf bro. Honestly, I thought the votes would be more dispersed. Maybe, it's not my fault comments, but I'll try to use Google Translate more in the future. Please forgive me for the rant and the inconvenience. ...Wrong! I pushed コードギアス…I don't remember why

xkcdsmbc

Yeah, Fate is fine. But its not anything special. Its great if your in the mood for its type of show, or if its your sort of thing in particular, but at least for me, its more of a 'oh hey look someone is watching fate, neat I got nothing better to do, guess i'll watch' vs generally better shows like FMAB where its more 'oh damn, FMAB, when does the next one come out? how soon can I watch the next one? Why isn't it coming out faster?!!>??!'
