Ben is correct! In the anime, they adjusted May's appearance, so it doesn't make sense that she was in Resembool at that time. In the manga timeline, May was probably trying to gather information about Ed, so she went to Resembool, then traveled to Central from there. After that, Yoki saves May in Central, and she teams up with them. In the anime, they moved the team up scenes from Central to the East City area because May’s story was originally supposed to begin in a mining town called Youswell (which Yoki used to own). However, since they cut the Yoki chapter at the beginning of the show, they made these adjustments.

Not sure about that tbh. In the years I've been subbed to them, I just kinda learned to just not wait for the uploads. So I don't really remember how consistent/inconsistent they were during the best times. Everytime it came up in my feed it's pretty much always a surprise lol. But lately it's been a very regular and consistent surprise, which is quite noticable
