The episode where things REALLY start to kick off. So excited for the next coming episodes, because from here on out, it's the best the series has delivered to date

Ben don't apologise for rambling. I love the videos where 90% of the video is you guys just talking about any minor thing that happens in the shows you watch. The longer the discussion, the better imo :D

Love seeing Lakan live up to his master tactician name whilst remaining a goofball in love with his wife

We appreciate the rambling!! Looking forward to rest of this amazing season. The wait between each episode is going to be rough lol

This is THE episode that everyone freaks out :D indeed it's like from slow cruise to 100mph in 3 seconds. Even better, unlike the investigative suspense as usual, when the truly smarts duel (Maomao vs. Suirei, Lakan vs. Shishou), they don't beat around the bush and the game became direct, rapid and intense. You'll enjoy the ride all the way to the season finale. :)

i also believe that by labeling his "game" with his wife as the "main topic" , it made his real "main topic" look secondary or a "passing conversation" so that the tanuki of the west shishou doesnt suspect that he was brought here for suspicions...instead it looked like a side conversation that was on his mind but then lakan's ramblings about his wife made it look like an eccentric, and lowers shishou's guard that "oh it's just lakan being lakan"... and then lakan hit him with coup de gras with the grape juice color at the end. if he did those back to back, shishou would have been on edge on would have answered in a reserved way or shrugged. Lakan's tactic here with using his own wedding/wife as a way to lower his guard was masterful.
