I do think someone should tell them that the Hanamonogatari novel was written and released between Mayoi Jiangshi and Nadeko Medusa mainly because I think it would add to their discussions.

If i remember right, initially the Hanamonogatari arc released in full as a special (or in 2 parts) not episodically, it got split when it was moved to streaming platforms I believe. So your assumption isn't wrong on why you didnt have the fire sisters preview at the end there.

I feel like it's always been underrated in the wider fandom, but Kanbaru of all characters getting this really melancholy/introspective arc has always stuck with me, it's really beautiful.

There's at least 57 more episodes AFTER Hanamonogatari. So yeah, if they watch one episode a week it will last for another year, at which point another season of Monogatari might be released.

Agreed. Her behavior being so seemingly "out of character" made this arc feel very genuine and compelling to me. We get to see a very vulnerable side of her, which she doesn't like showing anyone.
