Behind The Veil: Episode 10 (Patreon)

Hello Witches,

In this episode of Behind-The-Veil, I take you behind the scenes on the musical, Sex & Disability, and the story-struggle-result process of my song, Bird Inside A Cage.

As you know, the song is about motherhood, the loss of innocence, and the unbreakable bond between a parent and a child. It was a fiendishly difficult song to finish, both in arrangement and lyrics, and only came together very last minute.

This month I'm feeling (again) quite behind - my energy has been lower than normal, I'm struggling to see what to start with, and there are some big shifts happening in my life which are taking up so much headspace I've had little time to think.

However, despite the chaos, it seems my brain is still unable to switch off. I've decided I'm officially now writing my own musical.

This month's release will be a "first listen" to 3 of the main themes, played on piano. I'd love to involve you in the creative process - please be sure to join the Coven tier to be on the "Song Council".
