Hello you gorgeous bunch,

I've been busy as usual opening new projects and finding interesting musicians to work with. One of my students-turned-friends has now become a collaborator. He is a dance producer and his name is Tomos.

Together we are "Little Tomkins", the dark-rock-EDM duo intent on writing some very weird mashups.

This is the first song off the EP (yet to be titled). The track is called Cracklin' Sage and inspired by some dark electronica we've both been listening to recently. It will probably develop further but this is the starting point and I do love to share the first mixes with you guys to see what you think.

Artwork is from Fausto Giuresco, and still in prototype form but you can see where it's going...

I hope you enjoy this! It's definitely not something I've ever done before so will be completely off tangent for BEB but I really do enjoy doing very different things, and then perhaps bringing some of it into my own musical makeup for future tunes.

Great to do this experimentation. The song's intense beat gets me moving. Curious to see where this ends up! Love the artwork, so playfully savage!

so many new directions in musical style. I'm curious what the effect will be on Hex :D to me the song ended a bit abruptly, I was expecting some kind of big-bang of the built up energy. But I guess that's not common in dance? (as songs usually flow into each other). Looking forward to more songs of the Little Tomkins!

Yes! And you are exactly right, the original idea was to have a big break down at the end... which will happen for the final work. This type of music takes a lot of time so we wanted to give a quick 'taster' of what's to come... the EP will be a lot longer I think with dark progressive sections muhahahahaha ;)
