Real quick for my Star Wars fans. What order should I use to watch Star Wars for the first time????

I'd recommend the prequel trilogy first and then moving on to the original trilogy

Release order is best if you know nothing about them. Chronological can be fun if you already know the big spoilers, but I'd probably still recommend release order.

I’d recommend starting with the original trilogy. Watching them in the order they came out is the best way to consume the flicks BUT watching them chronologically is probably better for content

I’d personally do release order as to just get those out the way as it’s older so it’s a bit of a hard watch but still good nonetheless save the best for middle 🙏🏽

Okay okay- I personally prefer the timeline order of all the movies- but everyone else seems to be saying release order so now idk tbh Maybe cause if I watched it in the release order for the first time I would be a bit confused but everyone is different so- (I honestly also really liked ep 4-6 I personally don't care about the old quality it was the story itself I was more into) If you are curious though, the movies' timeline order is Episode 1 Episode 2 Episode 3 Solo Rogue One Episode 4 Episode 5 Episode 6 Episode 7 Episode 8 Episode 9 The release order though is Episode 4 Episode 5 Episode 6 Episode 1 Episode 2 Episode 3 Episode 7 Rogue One Episode 8 Solo Episode 9

Original trilogy first, then chronological order (so you'd watch the original trilogy twice, lol). Or just release order if you don't want to watch the original trilogy twice.

I watched them as 4,5,6,1,2,3,7,8,9 as I grew up with them (5 being released my birth year I’m fairly sure) but there is a case for chronological order. I’ve watched them both ways now so…though if you watch it in chronological order it takes away some power from reveals in the original trilogy. I’ll vote release order.

i agree with the orders people are saying, but i think you SHOULD watch the sequels and actually form your own opinions. they are a lot worse but there is some good in them I could see you enjoying!
