How you feel abt catra is exactly how I did too. Great character but frustrating because one wants good things for her. Also, heavily agree with this story being about love. I would say its also about cycles of violence. Reminds me of Aot and it was kinda vindicating when you made similar comments in the past.

Totally feel you, Scoot. Catra is literally my favorite character from anything ever and the second half of season 3 in particular is still a tough watch for me because I understand her so much and love her, but it's still frustrating. The way she's acting makes complete sense and it's compelling, but it's definitely her lowest point in the show and it can be hard to watch. Very well-written though.
