This time the tiles are a bit more in line with the colourful original game board (was it by Gary Chalk?). I also went back and popped the shadows in the Zelda room a bit.

That's... eight pieces total. I think I need nine for testing. Plus all the furniture, doors and character stand-ups. It's hard to say if it'll work together in 3D until I do the test print.

I'm putting mostly wood, bone and stone scraps/debris into the rooms now – stuff that can lay flat on the floor. It's surprisingly difficult to get the colour and line balance to look okay for the stone slabs. I think I want a lighter look like this anyways.

I'll upload full res ones later. These are at 40% size. Might be useful for other projects and testing, or perhaps in custom HQ games.

Yes. I have a mousepad mat with the HQ board, but this design slaps so much harder.

Tempted to do some Zelda stand-ups now too... *sweats*

Jeez your game art is so cool!

Varus Miniatures

Omg. Inlove your stuff already. But a Zelda Dungeon Crawler. Man, that would still be awesome. Maybe a little boring to play, but lovley to look at.

Hard to say if Gary Chalk did the HeroQuest gameboard. It's so unlike anything else he has done. He did do the Advanced HeroQuest tiles as well as the original Space Hulk ones. Richard Wright did the second edition Space Hulk tiles as well as Warhammer Quest.
