Episode 8: At the club where Xiang Ting Dong’s mistress Xiao Xiao frequents, Ye Ran puts his newly learned dance lessons from Cheng Che to bold use, blending into the nightlife crowd with surprising finesse. His confidence catches Xiao Xiao’s attention, and Ye Ran seizes the moment — pretending to be Xiang Ting Dong in an attempt to manipulate her.

However, Xiao Xiao quickly grows suspicious. Her doubt intensifies when she notices Ye Ran rummaging through her belongings while she changes. The tension between deception and exposure hangs heavy as the facade begins to crack.

Meanwhile, Cheng Che’s aunt holds an informal business meeting at the same bar, where Yu Jia Hao once again loses control of his temper. But unlike before, Auntie seems… amused. Instead of reprimanding him, she appears intrigued by his passion, hinting at a shifting dynamic between them.Episode 9: After spending the night with Xiao Xiao (or so it seems), Ye Ran finally returns, prompting Cheng Che to confront him — though she masks her emotions, her subtle jealousy is impossible to ignore. She tries to play it cool, but her unease about him being with another woman lingers.

When she offers him herbal medicine to help him “recover” below the belt, he hastily corrects her: “Nothing like that happened.” Her relief is visible, but she keeps it guarded.

Trying to smooth things over, Ye Ran gifts her flowers — a small gesture that turns into a grand statement as he begins filling the place with flowers, much to everyone’s confusion. He insists he’s no longer allergic, but Cheng Che’s aunt isn’t convinced. Her suspicion, however, seems dulled — perhaps by a new distraction named Yu Jia Hao, whose presence is becoming increasingly hard for her to ignore.
