After the shocking public audition in Episode 1, Episode 2 kicks off with major shakeups at Kirin Arts High School. Hye-mi, Jin-guk, and Sam-dong are all offered a spot in a new "special class" — a last-chance program for unconventional but promising students. However, the class needs to be filled by a teacher seeking redemption himself, who’s tasked with recruiting them personally.

While Jin-guk and Sam-dong face their own crossroads, Hye-mi hits rock bottom when she’s taken by debt collectors and nearly forced to sing at their lounge to work off her father's debt. Just in time, she’s rescued by Kang Oh-hyuk, the teacher in charge of the special class, marking a key turning point in their mentor-student relationship.

The episode ends with the three students’ fates starting to intertwine, even if they haven’t agreed to join the school just yet. Also, Park Jin‑young joins as a teacher, which shakes up the dynamics at Kirin, especially with those skeptical of how the school is changing.
