Im Sol is trying to figure out how to change the future, especially to stop the swim competition that injures Sun‑jae. She spends time with him under the downpour as the two share awkward but sweet moments — Sun‑jae shares his umbrella, she remembers things she said in the future, and the watch comes back into play.

She also tries to get closer to him, even defending him when a rival teases him and tries messing with his swim gear. There’s tension with her “fan side” versus her actions in the past, especially when she’s caught with a packet of cigarettes and misunderstood.

At the end of the episode, we get a reveal: Sun‑jae has had feelings for Im Sol back before she even knew it — which shifts how you see a lot of what’s gone down so far.
