Dream High Ep. 4 (Patreon)

Hye-mi, Jin-guk, and Sam-dong's acceptance at Kirin is at risk thanks to some bad publicity, but President Jung puts his foot down before taking off. But now that they're in, that doesn't mean thigns are going to just magically get easier.

The debt collector shows up demanding collateral and stirring drama. Sam‑dong steps into the spotlight by challenging Jason in a singing duel — surprising everyone with how good he actually is, but loses because he didn't know the song. This leads Hye-mi to give him a makeover to help his appearance at school. Kang Oh‑hyuk is pushed by President Jung to take on a bigger role, facing the pressure of whether he can be more than just a forgotten teacher. Jin-guk's father threatens to send him away again, forcing him to stand his ground about going to Kirin. Hye-mi is being bullied by Baek-hee and the other students after Baek-hee starts a fight and pretends to be the victim. But during the scuffle, she loses her pendant, which ends up in Hye-mi's pocket. Hye-mi doesn't believe it's good luck until things start to look up, and she even gets a call from her dad. But when Baek-hee accuses her of stealing it, Jin-guk rats her out in front of everyone, starting a fight between him and Sam-dong, and the bullying for Hye-mi increases. We end with our special students being banished to the preparatory class, and Hye-mi puts out a challenge to get the bullying to stop.
