Going into the next episode, Ye Ran is gone when Cheng Che wakes up after he calls in a favor. But Cheng Che is crafty. When word gets out that Deng Da Hai is hosting a welcome home party for his boss, she sneaks out and finds her own way in. Ye Ran has a plan of his own, too, as he shows up with some big-time military person and impresses Deng Da Hai's boss before realizing Cheng Che has snuck in.
