Actually the first time he dies because of her too. The man kills him because he saved her in high school. In the first episode you can hear the door bell before he falls in the pool.

Regarding the time travel rules: In my eyes, her saying "I'm from the future" doesn't actually count as her revealing anything about the future - it's true in her present (the past). Her saying something like "Obama will be the President of the USA" is a fact about the future, which freezes time; her saying "I'm from the future" doesn't reveal anything about the future. Even though it sounds like it should be obvious that such a straightforward statement should stop time, when you really think about it it's actually true in her present (the past) which means that the whole "She can't reveal anything about the future" rule isn't broken by her saying it. As for her being able to sing the song: Sun-jae has already written it at this point, which means that - technically - it already exists in the past. The fact that she's not supposed to know it yet doesn't change the fact that the song has already come into existence - thus, she can sing it without technically spoiling anything about the future. Also, the reason they thank Sun-Jae isn't because he sang at the audition (In-Hyuk sang in his place), it's because they got in using the song he wrote "Sudden Shower".
