To ELF, 83z is a miracle. Heechul was very playful and didn’t affect by anyone. Teuk was always hiding his feelings and hold back every single hardship. One day Teuk said “I only have you as a friend”. Years flashback right in Heechul eye and since that day, Heechul always is on Leeteuk side. You can see how he said other members : “ see you brats, Teuk is tired, he needs rest” . I watched the premiere of their album and see how Heechul composed and wrote lyrics for those songs based on 83z story. Their friendship, their year together, their past, their present, their future, and their dedication for each other… so beautiful and so BL as well 😂 I love them so much, we really need to make album review and read all those lyrics.

Hi girls! Actually, in the early days, until Kangin left Super Junior in 2016, he was kind of the group’s co-leader (not officially, though). He was really supportive of Leeteuk and always tried to help keep the rest of the members under control. He was usually helping Leeteuk during speeches, award ceremonies, and other official events. Fans even called Kangin the “bear dad” and Leeteuk the “duck mom” lmao. After Kangin left, Leeteuk had to take on the leadership role by himself, and it was really hard for him. At least nowadays, when Heechul is around, he tries to help Leeteuk too. ELFs even joke that Heechul is the “strict mom” while Leeteuk is the “soft parent.” 😂

One thing you have to remember is what happened to Leeteuk with his family while he was in the military and the fallout for him. He decided to pay off all his fathers debts which meant he really did accept every single job that was offered to him. So while he had stress about being SuJu's leader, he also had all this other stress plus dealing with everything emotionally. he once said he didn't even want to be called by his real name, just Leeteuk, meaning he did want to be Park Jung Soo anymore. It is only in the past couple of years that he has slowed down and allowed himself to rest more. Lol, I think he is the only person that the Covid lockdown was good for as it forced him to not be constantly running. These days he is much more relaxed and happy, and a lot more open to talking about his past struggles, although he has had a few stressful months lately.

Wow, this is some level of fate! The way Eunhyuk was answering the same as you is impressive. Not that people's hardships should be compared, but Leeteuk has gone through more than most idols due to family matters. He is in a much better place now, though! He takes his mental heath seriously and doesn't stress himself out anymore.
