I love the Battam background and how it takes over the panels as Sal's mind fills to the brim with Battam thoughts hahaha! Poor Sal, the truth is probably just that Battam isn't used to these kinds of feelings and connections himself and is also still feeling stuff out. ;u; But we often assume that people around us have their crap together and do things for clear reasons when we don't know the Why.

It's so sweet because I completely recognize this from my own relationships. Fussing and worrying so much about what contradicting actions and words might mean when like... my partner was just being human and unsure about stuff themselves, or had changed their mind as people do over time sometimes. It adds to how emotionally real this story feels ♡
