I've been meaning to start animating again for a few years now honestly. Just the thought of animating again overwhelms me so much since I put so much time into just the the still renders. The plan is to make my own fully functional model that deforms correctly anatomically, now that would take a load of time to make since I would practically have to sculpt ever pose imaginable so it would work for all poses since I've never seen a mode that does that automatically (this would also be one of the main reasons I try to make a different pose for each project so I can practice sculpting from every angle/pose). Sure I could do it the same way as with the still renders but I don't want to overwork myself to death for each and every animation. So that pretty much sums up the dilemma I have with animating, I have seriously wanting to animate for so long now and have too many concepts that I'd love to bring to life, then on the other hand that would mean I'd have to stop making renders for some time or in best case slow down my work output quite a bit to focus on making that fully functional model. TLDR: Yes I will start animating again. How soon? Can't say.

Yeah that makes sense. I can imagine the effort the quality of stills takes, keeping that same quality with animation would be even more draining. It’s no rush at all though, take your time and be sure to take breaks so you don’t burn yourself out 😭 you’re amazing enough as is. You’ve already inspired me to (try) and pick up blender once I get myself a PC. :D
