I was thoroughly creeped out when certain companies were advertising that you can make AI porn of anyone, "even a coworker". Twitter is just adding to the fire. Hopefully it won't take long for the revenge porn laws to be updated to cover AI as well.

Twitter added an edit image button that pulls up a prompt session with grok and lets you do anything with the image. People are using it to undress people in images or put them in skimpy clothing without the person's consent.

Yeah, stayed on Twitter for about 24hrs, then left, many years ago. I didn't like the atmosphere or the lack of space for explaining yourself. People who attack others in such manners, i.e. where the consequences are few, are *absolute* cowards, and there is too much of it in the world today.

the thing that I feel like many do not understand, xAI loses money on each generation and you can use it for free, before their bait and switch process happens, we could just all use generation non stop, but NOT post it, just generate. for them it seems you are so interested in this stuff, till they want money, then you just stop. if this is done by the masses, it will hurt them badly, fucking badly.

(The naval history YouTube channel Drachinifel has videos of both events, well worth a watch.)
