Try drawing genital.

You may have wondered about this the same way I once did: why do artists so often end up unable to keep drawing only the subjects people originally liked them for? Why start out wholesome stuff and then eventually move toward nudity or erotic?

After becoming an artist myself, I have come to think that this may simply be part of the process of learning and exploration. Once you become familiar with one subject, it is natural to want to challenge yourself with something new that you have not drawn before. For me, studying the artistic anatomy of the female body is one of those areas I want to explore and become more skilled at.

I still remember when I used to study Chinese martial arts, my coach once told me that the hardest techniques to master are those involving the extremities, especially the fingers. The smaller something is, the harder to truly master. When it comes to figure art, I think one of the most difficult details is the genital, especially women's, which human societies have long tended to keep hidden.

I want to explore whether the depiction of the genital, with other parts of the human body, contribute to expressing a character's personality, rather than being treated only as a signal inviting sexual activity.

Maybe this drawing will not succeed my goal. It is only my first time trying this. But I wanted to simply share my genuine thought process and artistic journey with you.

Of course, I know what my fans waiting for

Your art is so good and it makes me want to eat it

Bushlover

Ebenholz bush and pit hair? Feels like I'm getting spoiled

LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOO

John Lenovitch

This does put a smile on my face 🖤

Arvid Hultberg

I like when you tel why you draw things like this

NancyFrankulin

Keep on learning!!! You did a great job with this, and while she is nude, it's not an overly sexualized picture. Looks more like she's just chillin on a nude beach talking to a friend.

M Staloch

She is and always will be beautiful with or without bush. And she will always be wholesome to me

Gregory John Fink

The pose here is super challenging as well. To get all the various parts if this right must have taken ages. Very well done.

the Fancy

What first attracted me to your art was the attention to body mechanics and detail of movement. I appreciate watching you continue your attention to detail and form.

Theodin von Wolf

Love your art, keep going and dont let youraelf bring down by people who dont like it❤️

OrangeMarvin

I’m experiencing the duality of man; I both appreciate anatomy being presented in a non-sexualized manner, and also am ready to go feral for that hairy variant.

APracticedObserver

She looks beautiful, both in bushed and clean versions.

TheGael

Awesome to see you experiment and branch out.

Nobilis Reed

Your foreshortening is excellent.

The variety of female genitals is crazy. I've seen an art installation that was nothing but shots of female genitals, hundreds and hundreds of them, and no two were alike. From a completely contained "slit" to a flowery display of labia with enlarged clitoris. The range is insane. Factor in the woman's body type, their pubic hair and the shape of their pubic bones, and it's a whole entire universe to explore. Good luck with your artistic exploration or genitals :D Also, I'm curious as to why you've abandoned the idea of Ebenholz having scars on her body? I think the scars had a charm of their own, because they told a story. For me, each scar was a serious engagement, a failed parry in a duel, an ambush or a mistake when carving a chicken. They added a layer of history to the character. I'm not trying to influence your art, I'm just curious why you abandoned the idea of Ebenholz carrying those scars :)

Genitals are hard (pun intended) because they are symbol hardwired in our brains at an equal level of being body parts. How do you remove the symbol while keeping the essence?

"Inanna placed the crown on her head. She went to the sheepfold, to the shepherd. She leaned back against the apple tree. When she leaned against the apple tree, her vulva was wondrous to behold. Rejoicing at her wondrous vulva, Inanna applauded herself."

Yep, it turned out great, keep on exploring if you want! As for the explanation... Makes sense, though my stance is that artists who don't rely on their art for their monthly wages should do whatever the hell they feel like, and those who DO do it professionally should focus on what's profitable, and do whatever they feel like in their free time. What others _think_ isn't really a factor in either case.

Drawing anatomy is very difficult. Keep learning and expanding your skills as an artist!

Loved reading about your thoughts on and behind what you draw and hope we get more insights! Also great piece, I'm sure Bushlover is appeased, love it!

Just to tease you, I was going to say Wass Nonnam is rubbing off on you.

Han singer

I love that your Charakters look like actual Humans ❤️

Xennded

What's funny is before reading the caption I was getting particular vibes and conclusions from Ebenholz from the way she looked here. Although I'm using my modern day lens and not a historical one, so I am likely DEAD WRONG despite my inferences 😂 I definitely agree that there is so much to learn with the human form. One way or another, artists may eventually end up drawing nude bodies to boost their skills and knowledge. Sure there are viewers who will go, "exposed skiiiin~ 🤤", but even they have a perspective of the work.

Derufu

I just love how you make them look natural too

Gray Imaginings

I like Bad Sister Ebenholz just as much as good sister

Icarus Septim

I'm at work and burst out laughing! He really should!

Schrödingers Katze

I forgot who it was exactly, it was a mangaka who said something to the effect of "Once you start drawing nudes/lewd, you allways end up wanting to draw more of it."

Chris

Both are gorgeous but between the two I prefer the one with body hair 😍

Henry Walker

The way you express the female form in its varying shapes is a breath of fresh air compared to our "modern expectations". Your characters are not super-models (thank goodness for that), they are real human beings. I like the way you express things like scars and deformations in their bodies, they are not perfect, and neither are we, so why should we expect them to be perfect? There is human diversity, and we should be thankful for it. I am just wondering who is next for this treatment?

Earthworm Jake

I’m a big proponent of nudity doesn’t mean sexual, love your art and seeing you explore things that inspire you 🫶

Derek V

The weirdest thing to me is seeing her without the scars
