I watched an old James Bond movie this weekend and then had a discussion about who the best Bond was/is. My guy doesn't agree with my choice (surprise, surprise 🤪) but I was happy at least one of my subscribers did! Now I'm curious who your favorite Bond actor is/was?

I don't think I've seen all the actors or the movies but I will share my favorite in my next update.

Connery set the tone and made the character iconic and cool (Goldfinger). Moore brought the dry British wit, charm and sophistication (The Spy Who Loved Me). Lazenby (OHMSS) was physical and Brosnan nailed the style and the look (Goldeneye). Craig is brutish and gritty (Casino Royale). But only one of the men who portrayed Bond took the time to read the books and he most embodies the character Ian Fleming created. Dark, cold, ruthless and professional, he was the best actor of the group. His interpretation was the closest to the novels and for me he is the most nuanced and complete Bond. "You earned it, you keep it, old buddy." Timothy Dalton.
