Hand Tool Rescue's Yule Log to Toothpick

Comments

handtoolrescue

I should do one for this video where I just debate myself over what is and isn't a sandwich.

Brian Myers

Thank you for this...I needed it today. Haha.

Brian Myers

Next do one using every chainsaw you own. From cutting the tree down!

John McCormick

My grandfather worked so hard in his childhood he died at the age of 3. Not from the hard work but from emphysema.

thom leinheiser

It took 4 cups of coffee but I watched it. Worried you would drop it in the shavings. Glad that didn’t happen.

handtoolrescue

I painstakingly colour-corrected, audio-enhanced, and framed every second to ensure the perfect painful watching experience.

Clifton Ballad

dont forget the opening theme song playing softly in the background for the whole vid...

Mac Armstrong

Every time I see that fireplace I think of The Friendly Giant.

Clifton Ballad

"Ooh! a new HTR vid to watch while eating breakfast! Cool! .... Wait, the whole log??? " *checks how long the video is* You. Magnificent. Bastard.... Bravo.

Bukka

If you close your eyes, it sounds like Pinocchio having a good time

Janet Dupree

You are crazy! I did two loads of laundry, baked a cake, road my exercise bike 10 miles, and gave my dog a bath while watching and/or listening. I love your quirky sense of humor. Ha! Ha! Actually, I fast forwarded about 98%, all the while hoping I did not miss anything. Thank goodness you saved the best for the end.

Brian Myers

I thought he was just going to use a lathe...then I saw the length. I almost feel like I should up by pledge level...feeling gone!

Stephen Boots

😂 Insanity! But the ending! LOL!

Brian Myers

I kept expecting you to use a smaller plane but nope...not our HTR! Go big all the time. Well done.

Clifton Ballad

I swear I could almost see your soul leave your broken husk when I heard that little snap...

Frenky

Me too! I think there was a part of this story, where the owner said, we have to make the process better: lets make toothpicks faster! (but still 1 log 1 toothpick)

Marc McKenzie

Ah... the warm holiday sounds of the shaving of a yule log 🪵. It inspires us all that you keep the old traditions alive! I’m off to the North Sea 🌊 to catch fresh herring to pickle with eggs for Christmas Eve dinner.

Daniel F. Iyama-Kurtycz

Must be some long cold nights up there in Saskatchewan. Even Johnny Harris might not stop by.🤨..😉

Old Crow Bourbon

If I could only have you near To breathe a sigh or two I would be happy just to hold the hands I love But they’re calloused as hell because you’ve been making toothpicks again.

ChuckD

Fear not, Mr. HTR. A vaccine has been approved with another on the way, and the King has been deposed (altho he doesn't know it yet). Our long dark night approaches the dawn!

Jonah Ferdman-Hayden

You just won modern art, now tape that shit to a wall. seriously though, this is the stuff of mythology. I can just imagine some Norse demigod having to chisel a tree into a spoon to de able to drink from the lake of eternity to find his real mom and ask her about how Odin knocked her up. You're a god damn legend.

Mac-Da-Bits

He is not just ok, he is fantastic!

Peter Laws

THIS is why I am a patron!

Kris Granholm

Is this how Canadians keep warm in the winter?

Brian C.

Not sure whether to use a "Gun Show" joke, or a "Snakes on a Plane" joke, but this was definitely the best Die Hard movie in at least twenty years.

Clifford Seifer

This is absolutely going on in the background while we open gifts Christmas morning.

Clifford Seifer

Also, my 17 year old pug, whose alzheimer's is getting pretty bad, is watching this with great interest while I work. He's not really a TV dog so you have apparently found the only genre to interest him.

Mark Peterson

Your dedication to the craft is both inspiring and befuddling. I’m sure your chiropractor laughed all the way to the bank when he saw this one.

John Toves

You should have guest narration for 10 minutes at a time from YouTubers saying how they would never do something like this.

Jason Frederick

So I showed my wife the last few minutes after I spent the first 2.5 hours glued to my phone watching this riveting, could not stop watching entertainment. I said to her "I can't believe that is how toothpicks are made", she replied "That's really how they make them" , I had to just walk away before I got in trouble (again). Thank you for this wonderful moment of messing with my wife.

HamOnTheCob

Where is the narrated version?
