*edited* I spoke before watching-- Ignore me. It's Wednesday and I'm tired from getting over the hump*** (strikethru comment) I bet this was for CAR wheel spokes back in the day, as the fancy cars had real spoked wheels, and this would get enough leverage for those, which were probably not well made back in the Roaring 20's.
