This was the most difficult project I have done to date.  What a challenge!

Narrated: Pistol Grip Wrench [Patent Remake]

Dan Johnston

Digging the medallions. Very Remington New Model Army. Thanks for recreating interesting somewhat useless objects otherwise lost to history. Kinda the Jurassic Park version of machining.

Judson Rhoads

I think you may need to create gun-shaped caliper (or should that be caliber?) to balance out your wrench’s holster. Can’t wait to rewatch this one to catch everything I was laughing through. Well done!

Joe Dowling

Careful with that kid. You'll shoot your nuts off.

Sphynx

I want one of these for work. It’d make all the gunners jealous.

Steve Z

Wow. Amazing. And it only took you 2000 years to make. Did you seek advice from the baby jesus before you started?

Andrew Nerys

It's so beautiful. The intersection of absurdly complex and foolishly novel is a place I like to visit, and it's not part of every day's journey. Thanks for making it part of this one 😊

Bobsyeruncle

Amazing how someone will go through the effort to engineer and patent something as complicated and unnecessary as this. Great job BTW.

Patrick Rainville

As hard as it is to believe someone applied for a patent for this I’m so glad you decided make it. It’s great, ridiculous and not very useful but still great. I’m sure the Jimmy and Andrew will want you to make them one because you know us Americans and our guns. Can’t wait for the next video.

Dalek Supreme

Make it I buy it! I have no use for it but... I want!

Daniel

there is no need for two gears on the front, the whole thing could be streamlined by the finger thimble working on the shaft that moves the jaws directly. could also then be more easily operated with the "trigger finger" more brass=more better i know, but still superfluous as far as it goes tho, i love the medallions and how theyve worked

Mike Bird

Cross-hatching the grip would be a nice touch. Would putting a "thumb stabilization extension" (faux hammer) help the grip when you're wrenching? Finally, judging by Big Clive's experience trying to take a battery operated glue gun to the Isle of Man, better only take that thing in checked luggage! I'm surprised you didn't put the King Di.., er, HTR bevel on the top of the jaw. Great job

Dieter G

This is a project that could only be achieved by someone with over 1,000 years experience. Maybe more. The sounds coming from the lathe are exquisite and slightly sensual.

Tracy Bowling

Slow and low is the very BEST way to work on someone. I mean something.

Grim

Maaan this is just what I needed tonight. It's been a crazy stress filled week and there's nothing like a little patent remake to take you out of it. Cheers man

Larry

It needs to be engraved with a Western looking style to complete its beauty.

Robert Hudson
