So, I don't know how much you guys might have seen out of my photography but I have taken some time this year to get into photography. It's fun! In particular macro photography (extreme closeups) is my jam. I like it because it forces you to look at things from a completely different, almost alien perspective when you get extremely close to something. And you can also use that to create some interesting settings.

These two photos of a fallen log I took in the park the other day seemed really ripe for turning into backgrounds. With a tiny bit of color grading, a fallen log can look like a dark cliff side.

I love this, it's a fun idea and a cool way to combine two media ^_^

This is the first I've seen of your photos and I love it.

Awesome! I love stuff like this were everyday objects get turned into something else just by a change of perspective. Have you ever played the Samorost games?

Macro is fun, tiny plants and creatures become so much more when you get to see their details. The wind does drive me mad when fotographing, though.

Oooh what macro lens are you working with? On what body?

I'm using a Sony6400a which has been great with a... I forget the name off hand... the Sony FE 50mm. The results are stunning.

That is a fantastic combo! I certainly can't argue with the results. :D You're making me want to do more macro stuff myself!
