As apart of the audiobook, we have been working upon a Original Song. Not a parody song like the others but a truly unique piece.

So tell me what all of you think?

I ended up with a dropped jaw. The line of "fires of yesterday" refers to the bombs. I don't fully get "the mare has found a bed away" part. I like how Sunrise's name is used as metaphor for bringing hope of peace to the Wasteland. The song talks of how this not the journey of one mare, but of her and her friends quest, very nice. How this group always works to overcome all obstacles in their path. How the virtues of a past should not be forgotten. Overall I was very impressed. It sums up what the story is about without giving much away. It could maybe use a bit more to reference that this takes place after an apocolypse, maybe a single line of how the world she knew ended at the very start. I have this image in my head of watching a single mare struggling forward in a sand storm in the dead of night, as the song begins. The setting is a barren wasteland. At the point where the sunrise is spoken of, we see an over the shoulder of this mare walking toward it. With a final scene of a head on of this mare still struggling , but showing the shadows of her friends (more like shadow figures) right behind her, struggling right as well, but always pushing towards a brighter tomorrow.
