I love watching reactions to shows I've seen especially when Im multitasking but I do get a little extra excited when I see a show posted I haven't seen and I've been interested in watching but never got to it and can just go along the journey with you.

Heida

OMG YES!!! Haven't rewatched this in so long! Thanks Amber Lee ❤️ Yes, this is from 2005 and it ended in 2017 after 12 seasons. The series is very loosely based on the life and novels of forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, who also produced the show. Temperance "Bones" Brennan is named after the protagonist of the novels, and, in the show, she writes a successful mystery novel featuring a fictional forensic anthropologist named Kathy Reichs. The real Kathy was an expert witness in the Casey Anthony murder trial. She was reluctant to get involved, but later agreed and performed a full skeletal analysis of Casey's daughter, Caylee, but could not determine a cause of death. She concluded that there was no evidence of abuse and that the child appeared to be well-nourished. Emily Deschanel (Brennan/Bones) is the sister of actress and singer-songwriter Zooey Deschanel (from New Girl and various movies). Emily has been in movies such as Boogeyman, Easy (with Naveen Andrews who plays Sayid on LOST) & The Perfect Family and appeared in minor roles in Spider-Man 2, Cold Mountain & My Sister's Keeper, as well as starring in Rose Red (miniseries based on a Stephen King novel), Animal Kingdom & Devil in Ohio. Emily & David Boreanaz (Agent Booth) co-produced the show.

Bones! One of my favorite shows of all time

Violet Rose

traviiiiis this is more than just a cop and helper story, in this case the COP is the helper lol and it gets sooooo good especially from season 3 onwards till season 9, i really hope you'll like it just as much as we do

Rachel

MamaSeesa

This show is one of the best crime shows ever. Several of the characters are going to worm their way into your heart. You'll laugh and cry and have the best time!

Kate

Aaaaahhhhhh one of my all time favorite shows!!!! I am so so so excited 😃😃😃 Edit: what a banging soundtrack too. I have so many songs from this show that I still listen to, 20 years later. One of the best to use music to heighten the mood imo.

Jo

fun fact: agent booth's line "it's like pornography . . . you'll know it when you see it" is referencing an actual Supreme Court Case where the Supreme Court's test for determining whether something was pornography was Justice Potter Stewart's "i know it when i see it" threshold lol

Eline

yey, so happy you are watching Bones, it is my favorit tv-show

BtsOT79798

cleanwithjaimie

My absolute favourite show of all time, I’m so excited Travis omg

Matt Sacchetti

Yay! I never finished this show but what I remember was a lot of fun

M Russell

Ohh damn let's gooo Bones!

DMSC Timo März

Bones <3 it's been to long. Also one of the shows I haven't rewatched in english with all the medical terms haha

Sherry Palmer

Bones is like Dexter in that they both take a few episodes to get settled, but they are SO good after that. Keep 'em coming!

Cathy Mills

Yessss!! My favourite show 😁

Courtney

The scene at the shooting bullpen was what got Emily the part. David liked how she was the only one that stood up to him so he wanted them to cast her.

Becky Mitchell

I used to read the books by Kathy Reichs (my mom and I both read them) and we were so excited when this show premiered! Mom has been gone for 5 and a half years and revisiting this show brings lots of warm memories of the two of us watching it together. Happy to watch you discover this wonderful show!!

SapientButterfly

One of those shows that has always lingered on my watch list but I've never actually started until now. Thank you for the great reason to start watching. Enjoying it so far.

Robyn Hayward

I've only seen random episodes that I've seen at my Mom's house but I've always been meaning to watch it from the start so yay! Hope you like it!

Sherry Sink

I've got a lot of nit-picky issues with the writing of this episode (including some that you pointed out), but overall I thought it was a fine pilot. (Not great, but fine.) What I loved most was that the secondary lab characters got some decent screen time and personalities of their own, enough that made me want to see more of them and learn more about each of them. And I liked the general humor which is always a bonus.

Kiana Banks

What other helper procedural dramas are there besides castle ?
