He knows his son was wearing the scarf when he went missing… he sees someone else wearing the same scarf it’s perfectly understandable why he’d be holding onto that, it’s all he has to go on right now ☹️

Im saying the stretch is that someone bought a hyper specific scarf and just happened to be wearing it in front of this guy... And it was yellow... arguably one of the most unique "common" colours and one that would stand out in a crowd. I just think it seems a little forced and takes me out of the story 🤷‍♀️
