Yeah Randall is always on go, and I feel like it wouldn’t be as bad if it wasn’t BIG decisions that it leads to! I love Madison. The constant comments and eye rolls at the support groups when she talks about how “fat” she is, clear body dysmorphia. And people think you can only be at them groups if you’re physically big. Obviously she needs much more help, and the bulimia… I hope everyone that’s ever made a comment about her thinking she’s fat feels terrible, honestly :(

I agree! I get why the people in the Group are annoyed with her but its so frustrating to me that no one ever acknowledged that she has issues as well and maybe advised her to go to a group that is a better fit for her issues. Really love kate and madisons friendship tho!

Yes exactly. The thing is - she chose this group because it’s how she sees herself. But they all see a thin woman and think she’s ridiculous - it just goes to show how ignorant people can be 😔

I really really liked the connection that formed between Kate and Madison in this episode. When I first started getting treatment for my eating disorder I was terrified at the thought of being grouped with really thin people and how that part of me that beat myself up for not being “good enough” at having an eating disorder would react to the constant comparisons. It didn’t actually take that long though for me to understand why we were all together receiving the same treatment approaches regardless of what our bodies looked like. Cause eating disorders at the core ain’t so much about eating. Sure the unhealthy behaviors- whatever they may be- revolve around food but to heal you’ve gotta get at all the real messy head gunk that hides behind the food stuff. And that’s often pretty similar gunk. I was amazed how much I could relate to people I would’ve at first judgement assumed I was nothing like. And that can be a pretty powerful realization when you’re dealing with this kind of illness. Well done Kate & Madison. Love this for you both 💕
