Travis, you watching s2 is officially at the top of my list for 2026. It's my absolute favorite of the three and the best imo

If they had stopped during the final game, family of all who had died would receive their share.

I had forgotten how crazy his hair looks at the end. Out of all the hairstyles he chose the Ronald McDonald special 😂 I really enjoyed your reactions to this show Travis. I had forgotten how good the show was, since I only ever watched the 1st season. I understand that by not getting on the plane clearly Gi Hun has chosen to not let the games go and its suppose to be like an open ended "what will he do?", but all I can think about is that he is once again disappointing his daughter who is waiting for him to arrive on that plane.

Rewatching this with your reactions and knowing about the final reveal, I watched closely when the old man was supposed to "die" and you can see Gi-Hun leaving the room and the camera follows him. Then you only hear the gun shot after we can't see it anymore. Still it never occured to me we've been lied to when I watched it. Loved your reaction. See you on the next one.

Not sure what happened with the translation but originally when he was reading the card on the beach, "gganbu" (the old man), was explicitly mentioned.

So, when the season aired, 45.6 billion won would've been around $40 million, but by current conversion rates, it'd be closer to $31 million. I had a feeling you'd be shocked by that reveal and you didn't disappoint 🤣🤣🤣 The old man's name (Oh Il-nam), particularly his first name of Il-nam, is a hint to his true identity. Il means "one," or "first" (or any derivative of those words) and "nam" means man, so his first name means "first man," but, in this case, it's a clue to say that he's the originator of the games. It always saddens me that Gi-hun won the money, but too late to save his mother 😢 It also saddens me that he didn't get on that plane to see his daughter. Not sure if the rest of the seasons have been sponsored or not, but, if they have, I'll definitely continue this journey with you
