5:45 I'm pretty sure her liver should have grown back by now lol. i think it takes around a year on average for a liver to regenerate. (which i know is beside the point as you were making a joke but is a cool fact so 🤷‍♂️😂

For me the April and Eli scene is one of the most heart-breaking in this whole series. Seen it a bunch of times and I always bawl my eyes out. And I'm not even tiniest bit religious.

April I feel like never truly grieved Samuel. Yes in the beginning, but then she ran from it. From her life and felt so much better. But it’s clear she has a lot of trauma that she’s avoided because of it. Breaks my heart. I sadly know first hand that grief is forever. And you have to feel it or it kill you inside. And I feel like a lot of that anger stems from that for April. Causing her to wonder “why?” “Why do these things happen?” Hence her crisis of faith. Years later, everything crashing down. It’s so real and raw and heartbreaking, and truly one of my favorite storylines of this show. ❤️‍🩹

That last shot is a flashback to young Meredith, I think it’s a call back to her waiting at the bar for Derek to walk in. I think it’s to symbolize that for the first time since his death she’s ready to look for her forever partner. I liked Riggs but he didn’t seem like Meredith endgame to me

Meredith does have a long line of snacks post-Derek. I’m all for it. Teddy really ran Owen through the mud, and honestly he deserved it. I’d have felt bad but he brought up her dead husband just to get a reaction out of her. April’s actress is so damn talented. Best on the show after Amelia.

That's not just you the first part of the episode was really boring imo. I love the episode for the April scenes but other than that.... meh. The Owen and Teddy part doesn't work for me on so many levels. Loved your reaction. See you on the next one.

Not to be dramatic but hearing “God’s not indifferent to our pain” for the first time changed my life. April’s crisis of faith storyline has been heartbreaking. Eli was what she needed😭

Yeah I definitely didn’t remember those Owen and Teddy scenes being that long, but thankfully the second half, especially with April and Rabbi Eli made up for it And yeah that ending when the bell of the bar rang and Meredith turned to the door, that was a callback to the earlier seasons when she was looking for Derek I believe. I think it alludes to the fact that she is ready to have another relationship like what she had with him.
