I recently started Supernatural for the first time, and I need to start watching your reactions to them! But I’m like lmao oh how I can’t STAND Randall’s actor in it 🤣 love him so much in this but god his ass is annoying. tho thankfully think it’s the last of him now on there 🤣

I’m pretty sure Deja is only 12-13 here. IIRC she’s in 7th grade. So crazy bc I have an 8th grader (just turned 14 two weeks ago) and she’s never thought of half the stuff that Deja had to worry about. She has watched some of this show with me and really wants to foster. Unfortunately it’s not possible in our current 2b/1b home with 3 of us, but hopefully in a few years we can upgrade and open our home to both children and pets who need it.

I really love this episode. Dejas backstory is heart breaking. Even her moms is kind of heartbreaking. In the end she is doing the right thing for Deja. I do think the other option on the table would have been to stay with Randall and Beth for a while til she got right with everything going on cause they would have let her with how many strays they take in. And they would have done that for deja. But you could see Shawna making the effort when she finally got deja back and then to get pulled back into her boy troubles just reminds me so much of people I know and it's just purely selfish knowing how much that relationship screws her in the long run. DAMN THIS SHOW IS SOO FUCKING WELL DONE. that book reading montage was so good and how it connects to the conversation that she and Randall have in the end.
