I don’t like Hardin’s character per se, but I do love the actor. Hero Fiennes-Tiffin is a good actor, I’ve seen some of his other films. I did like his character in the first movie, until I found out about the bet. But, I can’t deny the chemistry between Hardin and Tessa, and the books have A LOT more detail and better parts of Hardin that aren’t shown in the movies. If you like to read, I would recommend reading the books. I think that a lot of people, as much as they hate Hardin, they can’t stop watching it. It’s almost a guilty pleasure. Watching these movies back, it sometimes baffles me that this whole series actually started as a One Direction (Harry Styles) fanfiction. Which is why his name is Hardin Scott.

Unfortunately they did a lot of cast changes from the second to the third movie. I think the reason why Selma Blair (Tessa’s mother) left was because she’s got MS. They also replaced Landon, but shortly after the series completed, the actor that plays Landon in this movie passed away. I was also surprised that they replaced Caroline with Lexi, but I thought it was kinda funny. And they also replaced Vance, and personally I liked the old Vance better, but I get why they replaced the actor with someone British because of how the storyline plays out.
