Tate Donovan (the actor playing Joshua) did play someone's dad in a pretty famous tv show in the early 2000's. But I am not sure you have seen this one so I don't want to spoil anything...This was a very funny episode, love the girls with their wedding dresses 🤣 It's very fun to see what your predictions are for the next few episodes. I of course won't say what happens but I am very excited to see you react to the last few episodes of this season!

Siobhan Linehan

Chandler's "woopah" for whipped makes me laugh every time. 😂 And Rachel really is crazy in this episode but Jennifer plays it so brilliantly. Poor Joshua was beyond freaked out. 🤣

Kristina Fagan

We shall 💜 He was Marisa's dad in the O.C I loved how Joshua ran. 😂😂😂😂

Dagnaabit

Joshua was one of the Dads on “The OC”. That’s all I remember him from though

Kelli

This season came out when I was in middle school and I still say “woopah” for whipped to this day 😂

Siobhan Linehan

Haha I love that. I've definitely said it a few times myself. 😂

Shin

Yeah, not really a fan of Rachel when she's behaving like in the scene where she suggests for her and Joshua to get married. Gunther was funny here though ha ha. Loved your reaction. See you on the next one !

Jahnae Phillip

Yeah, I actually forgot how funny this episode is. Monica kept trying on that dress and I’m over here like she going crazy 😂

"No, the groom can't see the bride in her wedding dress" "Phoebe, you're not gonna marry Chandler" "Not after this!" 🤣🤣🤣 Rachel: Oh, I know, I know, it's-it's so, it's so totally like, "Whoa! Can we do this?" Y'know, I mean, but I mean it just feels right! Don't you think? It does! I mean, it just feels right, don't you think? Joshua: Wow! Uh, Rachel uh, you're a real special lady, but my divorce isn't final yet and, and, and we've been on four days, so I'm thinking "No, but thanks." Gunther: YOU IDIOT! 🤣🤣🤣 So many great moments in this episode: "Wah-pah," Joshua running away after Rachel opens the door and says "I do," Chandler demonstrating how he dances at weddings and the way he and Ross handle that situation, Phoebe getting her dress from "It's Not Too Late," and so many more 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

We needed Gunther in that scene with how boring Joshua is 😂😂😂

11:24 — Yes! Tate Donovan, aka Joshua, played Jimmy Cooper in The O.C. as the Cohen’s neighbor. Father of Marissa. (Edit: I realize many have answered this by now, haha) He’s also the voice actor for Disney’s Hercules AS Hercules… and he played the owner of the Troubadour LA venue in Elton John’s Rocketman film. I’m sure he’s in many more things, but Friends, Hercules, and Rocketman are the first things that come to mind for me. Oh, and before he was on Friends, he dated Jennifer Aniston (1995-1998) — so they had to do this storyline as *freshly broken up* exes in real life! 🫣

Jenn S.

Very funny to me too! Though I cringe hard when she does the dirty dishes in the dress. Neat freak Monica? With all the splashback? Touching the skirt with her contaminated glove? She would NEVER. It makes me cringe because it feels like a major error in character continuity from the script writers.

You’re a Taylor Swift fan, right? How did you survive listening to Marjorie?

symone

Notice the white board behind Ross at 10:03 says "Poop" than at 10:11 it says "get out" 😂

Mark

Fun fact: Tate Donovan and Jennifer Aniston dated irl and were engaged at one point and broke up a bit before he started his episodes on Friends!

Rose Gwin

That white board is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I think they made it a running joke to put random stuff on it

Courtney

Chandler and his dancing 😆

Siobhan Linehan

He has a reaction on the archive of him watching the Eras Tour concert on Disney+ and he did get emotional when Taylor sang Marjorie. He hadn't listened to Folklore or Evermore before watching the Eras Tour so that song took him by surprise. It was a lovely moment. 💕

Jahnae Phillip

Yeah, I definitely agree with you there!

Courtney Kirk

Tate Donovan/Joshua is also in Hostages.
