This was just as fun as I knew it would be. You're SO right that the songs are all bops, they really step up the music in each sequel. 💯 But I do also agree about the auto tune being too much. Disney has a habit of doing that. In the advertising for the Zombies movies they made a big deal about how they haven't used as much of it and everyone was so glad because you can really hear the difference between those movies and these early Descendants movies. The auto tune is distracting. Especially in the first song Ways To Be Wicked, that song sounds so off and it's a shame. You're the first reactor who's said anything about that which I appreciate. Luckily going forward the auto tune isn't as bad as in this one. I do also agree that it's slightly too long, there are some filler scenes that weren't really needed. Your honesty in your reactions is always so refreshing. But overall it's still really good fun movie, yes it's cheesy and cringey and the CGI leaves a lot to be desired lol but sometimes these silly movies are exactly what you need after a long day. The talking dog especially cracks me up. Yes Harry Hook is such a great side character in this. He's played by Thomas Doherty, now mostly does modelling which isn't a surprise with his looks. But he also does some Broadway stuff as well, recently finished a run in Little Shop Of Horrors. When he was filming these movies he was dating Dove Cameron who plays Mal, they dated for many years back then. Fun fact for you lol, I guess that makes the scene where he eats her gum ever so slightly less gross. 😂 And the ballad that Mal and Evie sing, Space Between, became a lesbian anthem. Dove is bisexual and she said that she saw that people were shipping Mal and Evie so she deliberately played that song like it was a romantic love song between them which is awesome. 🌈 I'm glad you enjoyed it for hopefully in the next window I can get the third one sponsored for you. 😊
