Such a great movie. To think this all started cause a black man beat a white guy in a race. There is also some symbolism in here. The fact that a black man picked cotton out of a chair to save his life. There also was another ending that didn’t go over well when they tested the movie so Jordan Peele created a new ending and re-shot it.

Great reaction. Love this movie. This was Jordan Peele’s first movie after his comedy stuff and it was a massive success. I think you nailed it all at the end but all the little things like everyone wearing hats to cover the scars and other details that you think back on are fantastic. Originally the ending was the real cops showed up at the end and arrested him for murdering the family and it ends with him in prison 6 months later, but it was changed before release and afaik the original ending has never been released.

I love when you post these movies that I’ve heard are so good but never watched because I’m kind of lame and don’t know if it’ll be too intense/scary for me lol but a watch-along with Travis? Always up for it! Thanks comfort blanket 🤣🤣
