Ok as much as I love Nick & Jess and the will-they-won’t-they stuff with them, I’m realizing I might love it most for giving us these Winston & Schmidt adventures which are SO FRIGGIN FUNNY 😂

“Don’t you think just releasing a bear into a restaurant would be enough?” 🤣 I so love the running joke of Winston going either way too big or too small with things..and how both Nick and Schmidt always pause whatever they’re discussing to try to help him see it though he just never does - it’s so good 😂

Last comment lol but just to unnecessarily analyze the hilarity of that cut to the guy singing Father Figure!! I think the genius is in how long they stayed with it…usually when they do these flashback cuts they’re quick- and just long enough to make the point of whatever the joke is. When Schmidt asks Winston what his worst experience on a date was and we get this- the point was made pretty instantly yet we stay here on him singing like a whole chorus of the song (and then go back for even more in the end credits lol) which allows us to REALLY experience how awkward that was for Winston which ofc is what’s so funny. Love this show lol

Lamorne, who plays Winston, is SO SO close to breaking throughout the scenes with the singing man lmao. I just watch his face and it makes those scenes even more funny. 😂😂 Also the sexual tension between Nick and Jess is crazy!! They're top 3 in chemistry out of any TV show for me. 🔥
