Love your CM reactions so much! Regarding the Blake/Strauss scene in the beginning - Strauss’s most recent storyline (Season 7) has been about her alcoholism so it stands to reason she’s in some kind of 12 step program since she directly mentioned ‘making amends’. I’m not sure if anyone gave you a recap of this storyline since one of the main episodes regarding it was the one you skipped because of the triggering content (no judgement on that btw, I fully support you protecting yourself by skipping it). In the episode Strauss was on the case with them for bureaucratic reasons and she lost it on someone she and Morgan were questioning and he smelled alcohol on her breath - Morgan confronted her, told Hotch and the episode ended with the two of them finding her stash in her office and getting her to take a leave of absence to get help. She came back for the season finale returned to work and thanked Morgan for confronting her about her drinking. Sorry for rambling lol but yeah I always assumed she was in the making amends stage of AA for that scene - she seems to have been trying to make up with Blake all season but this is the first time she phrases it as ‘making amends’

That is pretty much exactly what I wanted to comment. I understand why Travis skipped that episode, but it gives so much context to what is happening with Strauss! We have filled him in a couple of times about that story line, but with all the shows he's watching plus not seeing that plot unfolding himself but being told about it, it totally makes sense that he forgot.

You are absolutely the first reactor (that I have seen) who posited at this point that the Replicator might be Gideon. Obviously I will not tell you how warm or cold you are with any of your theories you've thrown out so far, but that conclusion is facinating to me. Kinda love your brain here ;)
