Everyone always talks about your face blindness but how on earth did you spot that was Lucifer lmao, i didnt even clock it until you said it and i had to rewind lmao. But ive never actually seen this show (i mean obviously i have as its sometimes on the telly, but never actively paid attention to it) so this is going to a new one for me, im excited

I'm SO glad you liked this show. It's beloved over here in Britain, a real favourite. It's definitely very silly but so funny. 😂 This was Tom's first major TV role and he's such a good actor, as you know. Gary couldn't be more different to Lucifer but he pulls off both roles perfectly. I'm glad you recognized Sally from Taskmaster, I hoped you would. Heather Small is a British singer who was huge in the 80s. I hadn't heard of her before this show but Stevie's "what have you done today to make you feel proud" joke, based on the lyrics of Heather's biggest hit, made Heather famous again over here lol. And Miranda Hart not only stars in the show but she wrote it all herself. Everything that happens is based on situations that happened in her real life, greatly exaggerated for comedy of course. In her autobiography she talked about this pilot episode in particular and how people call her "sir" all the time and how she's been bullied for her looks and her height (she's 6ft 2) throughout her life and that it used to really get her down but she learnt to love herself and use those painful experiences to make others laugh. She's a true gem. I can't wait for more. 🥳😊

Her book is it just me was very well written ,I just randomly found in a news agency while I was visiting family in the uk. I’ve seen this show so many times. This one line in her book made me laugh so much I was crying.
