Terry Goodkind is a fantasy author. The quote at the beginning is from book 2 of his Sword of Truth series. To answer your question: We know that Morgan is from Chicago. Spencer is from Las Vegas (this has been mentioned a few times), Garcia is from California (SF, I think), JJ is from some little town in PA, Rossi is from NY (Long Island), and Emily was born in DC to a diplomat but I believe grew up in various places all over the world (depending on where her mom was sent). I'm not sure about Hotch or Blake.

PumpkinSparks

Hotch is from Virginia somewhere quite close to DC (I think the town was mentioned once, but I've never heard of it and couldn't retain random letters that didn't mean anything to my brain 😜), and Blake is from Kansas City (don't know which one)

Girls Always

Hotch grew up in Virginia, Manassas while Blake grew up in Kansas and yeah, Garcia was in SF

I feel you, this season's been going by fast (every season goes by fast). I think Derek's expression at the end was cause he couldn't believe Buford was actually dead, in shock, but honestly I agree with you, I was happy that he died.

This episode in general is so good, but the ending in particular? Hui boy! Powerful!!! I love that the cop apologized to Derek and took accountability - not just to Derek but publicly. That is something that should happen way more often And then seeing all the different lifes that monster affected and how differently they cope or not cope while Derek is doing the interview? There really wasn't that much of a difference in their teenage lives. Derek could have ended up like any of them, and all of them could have been another Derek. It makes me so mad!

Damn. A very hard but great episode imo. I absolutely shudder to think about truly how many victims of child sexual abuse there are out there no one even knows about. I think it’s probably a staggering number that probably no one wants to really think or talk about. But l feel like that reluctance from society as a whole to think and talk about it is part of what allows it to keep happening. Why victims live their lives ashamed and abusers go undetected. The trauma from child sexual abuse is so insidious- and the expectation shouldn’t be on victims to find a way to overcome it and come out stronger- though many can and do. We should be focused on preventing/intervening from it happening to so many people. I think these eps that focused on Derek’s and the unsub and other characters’ experiences does a good job showing that insidious impact on people’s lives. And I think seeing a character like Derek be SO BRAVE to talk about what he went through is HUGELY impactful.

I cry at EVERY emotional beat in movies and shows, its just automatic waterworks lol but unfortunately Moore's performance gives me nothing. Too bad its him they gave this gut wrenching, awful experience of a storyline to.

This is the most dark sided comment I have ever read on this patreon 🤣 It's like you can never just let a Black man be. You ALWAYS gotta say something about Shemar Moore and at some point we gotta wonder what it is that makes you have zero empathy for him and him alone because his acting was not bad here. No matter what you have to say about it. You just constantly gotta run your mouth on him or the character and eventually it's like: WE GET IT. Sometimes you don't have to say the thing. You can just hush. You got some internal shit going on with him and it's getting irritating that you are always being negative about him and never positive about anyone or anything else. We get it, you don't like him you don't have to constantly say it. Say one fucking positive thing ever in any of the fucking comments. If you would ever say something positive that would be nice. Doesn't even have to be about Shemar. Just ANYTHING. EVER.
