I do think the guys are funnier than the girls in general. However, my mvp of the seasn is Ross. I feel like he is just insanely unhinged this season and it's hilarious.

Yeah I mean I can put my feminism hat on and say it probably isn’t coincidental that Rachel and Monica are the least funny characters, despite Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox both being great actors. I love the character of Phoebe so much because she IS so funny and oddball - but anyone else notice how much of the story arcs for Rachel and Monica center around what relationship they’re in/what they’re doing romantically compared to Phoebe? Not to be that person all the time (I am) but this is a 90s/00s show and we weren’t often portraying women as multifaceted characters. Much more common to see female characters assigned to whatever roles we want them to serve. Think that’s also why Fat Monica is a choice that’s looked back on with some raised eyebrows, at least for me. Like Monica’s a hot, sexually viable female character- she can only be SO funny. But if we make her fat in flashback scenes then suddenly she becomes instantly hilarious. Sigh 😞

Also that stuff with Danny and his sister was SO creepy. A creative way to get rid of the character lol but just wrong on every level. I don't even hug my brother never mind doing all the creepy shit they were doing. 😂😂
