Hell yeah finally Smallville’s back! They do not miss with them season premieres and finales huh🤷🏽‍♂️ I’m telling you again Trav this lineup is FIREEE🔥🤣

I never seen season 7 it looks...different like even the way they filmedit

Looks like people forgot to warn you that season premieres tend to spoil with their intros, so sadly the Lana reveal didn't hit as hard, but glad you still enjoyed! And yeah, Smallville kills it every time with their dramatic needle drops at the end of episodes.

Depending on what draws you to the show will determine what the “best” season is. Which in my opinion shows how well done everything was, flaws and all. The first 6 seasons were HEAVILY restrained because official licensing & studio limits but with s7 they start breaking that so for most it only gets better.

They kept Jonathan in the credits for the entire rest of the season after he died so having Lana in the opening didn't really have to mean she wasn't dead. And yeah I know he came back as a ghost and also Brainiac's mind games so it wasn't quite the same feel as Lana but they still could have taken him out and listed him as a special guest star.

Totally get where you're coming from, but I feel like it's different when you're starting a season with an intro rather than changing it in the middle of the season. But it is what it is. Also just feels weird having Kara in the intro when you don't meet her immediately.
