Oh, THE episode is here! Meredith went OFF in that “courtroom” as she should’ve! That entire scene, from the moment she stands up and says the names of the spouses, to when she walks away from him is one of the best Grey’s scenes! She ate that up! Amelia and most of the doctors were there when Meredith confronted him, so that’s how she knew it was him that killed her brother. I agree, the scene with all the patients was VERY powerful! Seeing all those old faces was a joy for sure. Sorry for going on and on, this is just one of my favorite episodes and I’m glad we got your reaction to it!

I think deluca's point isn't that he wants to be her equal professionally but he knows that because he isn't, meredith is not going to see the relationship as successful. He thinks/knows Meredith needs to surround herself with her equals and he knows he won't be it.

But that's so irritating. Mer wasn't as good as she is now when she was a resident, the fact that he's just resigning himself to be inferior to her forever is fuckin pathetic. He could at least fight to get to the point she got to. But he doesn't. He's just resigned to being "good" and he puts that all on her. "Decide what you want". BOY, GROW UP. It's weird behavior. Mer was with Derek, and he also was not as good as she was. He was well known, and very good, but his own sister was better than him. He wasn't the best in his particular specialty. Mer was in hers. They still loved each other and made a life. Deluca is on some bullshit.

I’ve been waiting for this episode! When she stands up and confronts the doctor lives rent free in my head. Love Mer so much! And loved seeing her past patients! Such a powerful moment.

This is a big episode & a prime example on how you could give a masterclass on reaction videos. You get mad when "our people" are attacked, you always hit all the points (spouse's names, not on her level, etc..) And at the end, you don't just dip out, you give enthusiastic, funny, smart recaps. Even after watching hundreds of your reactions, you still surprise me at how good and authentic you are! Thank you for making it so damn fun to watch!

I love that episode for many reasons : the past patients, Mer telling this doctor off, the letters... And I love Merluca but the scene in the end seems like unecessary conflict. On another note, Amelia grinning like hell because the doctor died but SHE did not kill him will never not crack me up. I freaking love her ha ha. Loved your reaction. See you on the next one.

There’s a continuity error in this episode that has irked me for years bc in this episode we learn that Richard pulled strings to get Mer to Seattle Grace but several seasons ago (when Mer didn’t want Penny to work there) he said that when he found out Mer was matched there he tried his best to get her placed somewhere else. I guess the writers forgot, just like they forgot about Arizona’s fake leg a few seasons after 😅
