NO WAY MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME?!

Becky Mitchell

Sarah grew up (she was 17 during this movie filming) to be Penny in Top Gun Maverick.... I adore this movie!! Went and saw it in the theater back in January, when it was re-released for the 40th Anniversary. Saw it in the theater when it was originally released too. I was 16

What a trip. I was definitely part of the group in hs who loved this movie, only muppets have always been a hard sell for me so think I only watched it once all the way through. Definitely would bust into Magic Dance regularly though 🙃

Riiiiiiiiiight?!?!?!?! My actual whole childhood

Isn't it awesome Trav? Trippy, clever, great puppetry, so funny with all the little details, nd a great message - that it's ok to grow up but it's also ok to look back sometimes! Also, that life isn't fair - Sarah's catchphrase lol. I SO wanted to be her when I was little, I coveted her flowy shirt and waistcoat combo and used to try and run like her in the beginning when she pushes little branches out of the way in the straight bit! Bowie's cod pieces... specially in the grey leggings near the end... no words hahahahhahaha
