Yes it is final season of The Boys but we are not done with the universe as in 2027 we will get prequel series Vought Rising set in 1950s. I really loved how they bookended A-Train story here. He started by killing Robin and ruining Hughie's life. Here he saves Hughie and avoids hitting this lady on the streets which costs him the speed advantage he had over Homelander. He had ups and downs on his redemption arc but ended up one of better characters and I am also sad to see him go so early in a season. Yes the 'Kimiko sounds unreal' was everyone's sentiment. I think the chipperness of the voice combined with just some bonkers dialogues is what gives that results. Frenchie holding only her upper body and kissing her was sweet and gruesome. So very The Boys :D Also shout out to Ashley. Colbie Minifie was hired as a short-term season 1 character. And because the creators just loved her performance they keep finding new stuff for her to do each season. Gotta love her climb to power while still fearing for her life every step of the way. As for her new on-screen hubby Oh Father. He is played by Daveed Diggs. Probably most recognizable from Hamilton ( Lafayette/Jefferson). Fun casting pick. He fits right in!

The Boys are back! 👏 Rip A-Train I love that they did q full circle the he dodged a girl instead of killing her but this time it caused his death. His clocking Homelander too.

2026-10-12 18:00 I feel this one is stuck in development hell. They announced it in 2023 and have not even casted it. While Vought Rising was announced in 2024, filmed 2025-2026 and is expected to premiere in 2027. Again we will see how it goes :) For now we are on this final season ride and will check Vought Rising S1 for sure :D

I loved A-Train redemption arc so it was sad to see him go. Not to mention the lack of sound after he's killed is chilling. Homelander looks when he's pursuing him are also fucking terrifying, they nailed it. As for Kimiko... I too was weirded out about her voice but I also had time to think about it. And in all fairness, I believe after so many seasons of her not talking, nothing is gonna be good enough compared to what we imagined in our minds her voice would be like. That's only my humble opinion of course. Loved your reaction. See you on the next one.
